hard enough to believe goldfish are like any other fish they need a full tank setup. is your tank new? It may have to complete its nitrogen cycle before you put your fish in
have you ever tried the oxgen tablets that you just drop in let those settle then try putting your fish in that might work they might not be getting enough o2
I take it your not using a filter ?
Nope i figured a fish bowel would work fine i have seen ppl keep their goldfish in bowels and set ups just like mine
If you want to do a goldfish tank. I would recomend doing a real tank with a full set up and filter. I mean if you want to do the fish bowl go ahead. Gold fish are high waste producers and can make quite a mess. And i think you would probably need to be changing the water like 2 times a day just to keep giving them oxgen..just some thing to think about
People are mislead by movies or cartoons where they just put a goldfish in a fish bowl without filter or aerator.
But even in a full set up tank, goldfish can die easily, and I don't know why.
I used to have goldfish, never had issues. It depends on the water parameters. Goldfish are pretty hardy.
